Content : Intent was a group exhibition for the graduating seniors in the WMU graphic design program. The project title and definition is based on a single idea stemming from the quote, “Design is content with intent. Content without intent is noise. Intent without content is decoration”, by Joe Sparano. The process of curating the exhibition included planning the space, building the title wall, designing invitations and posters, as well as the preparation and hanging of our own individual pieces. A majority of my participation went into the concept preparation, creation and installation of the title wall. This included the overall concept, logo and graphic element designs, which were applied across both title wall, invitations and posters.
