GitHub Universe brought together a community of over 1,800 developers, executives and industry leaders from around the world, who are connected by code and turning ideas into innovations.
Held at the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco, the conference provided the opportunity for attendees to hear from industry experts and put a face to a username—connecting old and new collaborators to see what’s to come for GitHub’s newest products, features and programs.
I worked directly with the Manifold team on and offsite to create a visual system to represent the 2019 GitHub Universe using a loose set of guidelines from the client. I supported the art direction by creating the overall visual system, designed and produced digital and print assets that led GitHub attendees through the space. Working closely with 3D designers and our print vendors, I was able to create a cohesive visual way-finding system that appeared on all major signage from the 27' tall entrance banners down to 5"x7" wifi tabletop displays and also carried over to digital and campaign assets.
