Luvsick Plus is a Chicago based plus size vintage shop started by Britteny Riordan. Fueled by her passion for finding the perfect vintage pieces for everyBODY! Britteny strives for size inclusivity and to make all her babes feel like the true bombshells they are.
Luvsick's branding was inspired by all things vintages and 1970's. Multiple type treatments were explored for the logotype, but ultimately a logo that speaks to the curves and movement both the body and vintage clothing of that era was chosen. The logo was originally hand-lettered and then carefully vectorized, influenced by fonts such as Cooper Black and Souvenir. The color palette was carefully selected to coordinate well with their partner store Lost Girls with a few pops of secondary color that help the brand stand out. Typography was selected for it's compatibility with the logo and readability while staying true to the 1970's theme.
