Informational design created to compare and contrast a selection of common tree species in the state of Michigan charted by growth range, age, species, circumference and possible tree killing insects. This project involved extensive research and hands on discovery involving tree identification, selection, sanding to preserve each tree’s individual ring patterns and photo documentation/editing. The overall look and feel of the poster is that of an x-ray, allowing the viewer to see the inner structures of the tree and the trees rings.
